Editor's Verdict:

With the slogan 'you could be out on a date tonight', DatingBBW.co.uk doesn't mess around and it has a cheeky, slightly more saucy than most attitude.

It's not the easiest registration process we've come across and the design lets the site down badly with many different font colors and too much text.

Profile results are largely uninspiring - many don't have photos and although the information collected is thorough (Dating BBW even asks about aftershave!) it's just not presented in an appealing way.

We found a feature on this website that we haven't found on any others and that's the 0844 number, which is given to you for free and is yours for as long as you want it - oddly, even if you close your Dating BBW account. The number goes through your home telephone number without revealing what that number is, so you can safely give out the 0844 number to people on the site you want to chat with and not have to use a separate line.

We also had a look at the horoscope page, but found that it's just a list of telephone numbers to call for a reading. However, we did really like the agony aunt area of the site. You submit a letter by email and the chosen ones are posted on the site with an answer.

If you don't mind the garish design work and can operate through this site then there are many payment methods and membership lengths available for you to give it a shot and see how you get on.
