Whilst their advert might suggest there are 1000's of members joining everyday, I do not think this is strictly true. Having been a standard member for some time now, I have found that the numbers of members within my geographical range (50 miles from my postcode) is sadly lacking. There is not a lot one can do with a standard membership, but considering the limited number of members, responses etc., I would definitely not be paying the extra to upgrade my membership as my experience of this site represent very poor value for money.

This dating site should not be No.1

In summary, I would not recommend BBW Cupid to a friend.

Watch out for scammers on this site. Don't give out personal info. Had 2 people follow almost the same pattern on contact, then when I asked about meeting, they said they did not feel there was a connection. While some may look at that as it is just the way it goes, not everyone will be interested after messaging for a bit, it is the way things progressed that has raised a few flags. Basically it started out with messaging on the site, then to texting. Both parties said they like to take awhile before meeting someone. Typically a couple of weeks. Then after texting a lot of somewhat personal info, they were asked to set a date to meet. Both had basically the same response of they did not feel there was a connection. I find it very strange how both parties waited until being asked to meet, and did not feel there was not a connection beforehand.

In summary, I would not recommend BBW Cupid to a friend.

I have been on this site for at least 6 months. I paid for membership to start but quickly stopped that. I have been contacted by scammers that I reported and it was dealt with. But the rest are either looking to hookup or just talk dirty. Some men I met were mentally unstable and admitted it. I may be a larger woman, but I am not desperate. I went to find love. But found lots of dirty old men.

In summary, I would not recommend BBW Cupid to a friend.

I tried this site for less than 1 month. The majority of the men who contacted me were Nigerian scammers. I reported at least 5 that I caught. The one good thing I can say about this site is the technical support is outstanding. They handled the reports of fake profiles quickly and efficiently. The site is easy to use and probably could be a good site. Something has to be done about screening these people better. All I had to do was research profile pics on Google to figure out these people were fake. There are tell tale signs of these scammers and how they speak and write profiles. This site needs to do better about paying attention to how these profiles are set up.

In summary, I would not recommend BBW Cupid to a friend.
