We couldn't help noticing that FindMyBBW.com's logo is loosely based on one very famous dating site but, all the same, the design of the home page looks slick and professional. What's more we really like how they introduce themselves and immediately took a liking to them: "We've created a comfortable, non judgmental environment for you to find romance. You can be confident knowing that the men and women in our BBW personals network will appreciate you regardless of your size. Plus, curves are sexy and bigger is better! Whether you are looking for a life partner, or just someone to hang out with, here you'll be able to find exactly who you are looking for locally or around the world. It's fun, interactive, safe and anonymous - until you decide to take it further."

The design goes a little downhill when you enter your bare and basic member area. Here, you're given a unique member ID and updates on how many people have messaged you, sent a kiss to you or added you as a favorite. You can see your own activity too.

It's easy to register, although a lot of questions are asked and you must complete them all, but we were surprised at how limited the search is. We aren't signed up as paid members, so perhaps there are advanced search options when you pay.

Search results show photos that aren't necessarily close up or well lit - it appears members can upload whatever photo they choose, so although it's hit and miss in terms of judging whether you fancy someone, the photo a member chooses to upload shoud tell you something about them.

Search results show the age and location of the member, their relationship status and offers a snippet of their personal description. From the search results you can instant message, email or send a kiss to show your interest in the person. You're also told when the person was last online, which is really helpful to avoid people who aren't accessing their accounts any more.

Profiles show basic and personal information about the person and have three sections for free text: General Information, Appearance and Looking For, which makes the person seem much more real since they are free to speak about whatever they deem most important.

There's a clever little 'how we match up' button on profiles that instantly brings up a table letting you know how well you match up with the person whose profile you're looking at. It matches what you want and what the other person wants in terms of gender, age, country, marital status, body type, eye color and much more including religion and education. Results are displayed in an easy to view table with ticks and crosses.

There's also a browsing tab on the menu, but we're not sure of the difference between this and the normal search - there's little more detail in the search than in the browse.

There's a very limited FAQ section and the Contact tab simply leads to an email. This felt a little impersonal to us and if you came across a problem you may feel a little stranded.

We can't find anything about Find My BBW that particularly stands out from other BBW sites, but it is competitively priced so it needn't cost you the earth if you decide to give it a go and see for yourself.
